2013 North Ga Speedway B Hobby Rules
CAR & BODY:
A. 1970 cars or newer (American made)
B. 108-inch minimum wheelbase.
C. Stock steel bodies only (no homemade bodies).
D. Hulling is allowed but must have stock firewall & floor pan.
E. All doors must be welded shut.
F. Maximum 8” spoiler 12” long side. Braces no higher than spoiler.
ENGINES:
A. Any cubic inch allowed as long as block & crank match.
(350 block / 350 crank or 400 block / 400 crank)
B. Aluminum intake ok.
C. Carburetor – One four barrel carburetor only.
D. Headers permitted.
E. Any stock steel head / no aluminum heads.
F. OEM ignition only.
G. Block / Crank / Rods / Heads / Valves / Valve Springs / Retainers – Must be stock.
H. Camshaft & lifters must be hydraulics (No Exceptions).
SUSPENSION:
A. Springs must be in stock location (no altering of spring buckets).
B. Racing shocks permitted (steel only).
C. No wedge bolts or adjustable spring seats allowed.
D. All front and rear suspension must be in stock and in stock location.
E. Rear-ends may be locked
TRANSMISSIONS:
A. Must be stock (no direct drives).
B. Automatics must have OEM type converters (no bypass valves).
C. Stock steel flywheel / clutch / pressure plate for straight shift.
ROLL-CAGE:
A. Must have at least an 8 point cage with door bars.
B. Drivers door must have 3 door bars & 2 on right door.
C. Full roll cage is recommended.
D. Tubing must be minimum 1 ½ inch diameter & 0.083 wall thickness.
WEIGHT:
25lb burn off after feautre ONLY.
A. 3100 lbs. Minimum Anytime.
FUEL & FUEL CELL:
A. Gas Only E-85 IS ALLOWED
B. Fuel Cell w/ steel can and 2 inch steel straps mounted in rear of car only.
: TIRES
1. Hoosier 1600’s 1350’s
2. American Racers 48’s and 56’s
3. All 4 corners no longer open .
B. Steel wheels only 12” wide max.
C. Beadlocks permitted.
D. No wide 5 wheels allowed.
SEATS & SEAT BELTS:
A. Racing seat required.
B. 4 or 5 point safety harness required.
FULL FIRE SUIT REQUIRED & SNELL APPROVED HELMET
DRIVESHAFT MUST BE PAINTED WHITE
WINDSHIELD BARS IN FRONT OF DRIVER ARE REQUIRED

NOTE: The 8 rule / we will allow .008 thousandths on the bore, stroke and valve size.
Any Crate engine protested must be reassembled and resealed by one of the Authorized Repair / Rebuild centers.
Any item not listed in protest fees is considered a visual protest item and must be protested before race and NOT after.
