2013 North Georgia Super Late Model Rules

RaceCeiver Required, No other radios or communication equipment or mirrors allowed at any time.

1. Hoosier 1600’s 1350’s
2. American Racers 48’s and 56’s
3. All 4 corners no longer open .

B. Tires must have all numbers and name on the tire. No chemical altering, No grinding off of numbers or names, any tire that has been altered will be illegal.
ENGINES:
A. No GM 602 or 604 or Ford Crate part # 6007-03475R
B. No Mopar part # 5007646 No Exceptions
SPEC ENGINES:
A. S.A.S. recognized spec engines will carry a weight of 2250 Lbs. with 12” (twelve) spoiler option
B. Engine setback will be 6” (six) inches maximum for (B) engine and 6” (six) inches maximum for (A) all cast iron head & block engines measured from center of top ball joint to most forward spark plug. (1 inch Tolerance) THIS NEEDS TO BE 6″INCHES
C. All heads are limited to 1 (one) spark plug and 2 (two) valves per cylinder.
D. One four-barrel carburetor only of any manufacture. No turbo-chargers, blowers or fuel injections. All engines must be naturally aspirated.
E. Mechanical fuel pump only, No electric fuel pumps and no pressurized fuel systems.
F. Magnetos permitted, but all cars must have an operating self-starter.
A – ENGINE: 2200 LBS.
Unlimited cubic inch limit. .
All cast iron Heads and Block.
12” Spoiler Option
B – ENGINE: 2300 LBS.
Unlimited cubic inch permitted
Cast Iron or Aluminum blocks
Open heads, 8” Spoiler
6” inches maximum engine set back.
(1 inch Tolerance)

WEIGHT:

One lb per lap burn off after feautre ONLY.
A. A-engine /with driver 2200lbs.
B. B-engine /with driver 2300lbs.
C. there will be no burn off allowed.
D. No weight allowance after time trials.
E. Minimum weight will be measured with driver in car.
F. No rear end or wheel covers allowed on car while car is being weighed.
G. Attached weight must be securely bolted to frame with ½” or larger bolts and painted white or silver with car number clearly painted on them.
H. No weight may be attached to rear bumper.
I. No lead pellets or liquid weight.
J. No driver operated weight adjustment devices.
K. All cars must have specified weight posted on top right side of car.
L. Track reserves the right to adjust weights in interest of competition should it deem necessary.
$50.00 Engine Setback (1 inch Tolerance)
$400.00 Claim Rule on all ignition boxes.
Any item not listed in protest fees is considered a visual protest item and must be protested before race not after.
Track reserves the right to delete, change, or amend rules In the interest of competition.
