Fire Extinguishers Mandatory In All Cars
BODY:
A. Tubular bumpers allowed.
B. 8-inch spoiler with matching side braces allowed.
ENGINES:
A. 2500 anytime GM 602 crate engine.
B. 2700 anytime 350 engine.
C. 2850 anytime 400 engine.
D. Steel blocks only, may be bored to casting limits.
E. Flat top pistons only. Cannot come above deck.
F. Crank must be stock or stock replacement (stock stroke Scat/Eagle parts legal).
G. Balancing permitted but no lighting or knife-edging allowed.
H. Polishing stock rods allowed.
Stock appearing I beam steel rods
6” rods permitted.
No H beam sportsman type rods
Press or floating pins permitted
I. Wet sump oil system only.
HEADS:
A. Any STEEL OEM 23 degree head allowed (GM Bowtie Steel head legal).
B. No porting or polishing allowed.
C. Combustion chamber to be no cc limit.
D. No machine cuts or grinding in combustion chamber ports.
CAMS:
A. Any hydraulic or flat tappet cam and lifters allowed.
B. Lifter diameter must be OEM for make.
C. Roller rockers allowed.
D. Any valve spring permitted.
VALVES:
A. Intake 2.02 max.
B. Exhaust 1.600 max.
INTAKE MANIFOLD:
A. Aluminum permitted.
B. No porting/polishing or grinding anywhere permitted.
C. One four barrel carburetor only.
D. Non Dominators or Predator carbs. allowed.
HEADERS:
A. Any type header allowed / must run parallel to ground.
IGNITION:
A. Any electronic or points ignition.
FLYWHEEL:
A. Any clutch system permitted.
Option: Bert or Brinn etc. – Car must add 125 lbs.
Track reserves the right to add or take away weight based on competiveness.
B. No direct drives allowed.
FRAMES:
A. Must be stock clip from mid-plate forward.
B. Tubular upper a-arms permitted / must be in stock location.
C. Rack & pinion steering allowed.
D. Multi-leaf or 3 link rear suspension only.
E. 104 inch wheelbase minimum.
F. Roll-bars must be steel tubing with 1 ½ inch minimum diameter.
G. Tubing wall thickness must be .083 minimum.
H. No coilovers allowed / no birdcages / no brake floaters allowed.
I. Number 1 plug must be in line with upper ball-joint.
REARAXLE:
A. Stock type or quick-change with steel tubes.
B. Wide 5 hubs allowed.
C. Racing shocks and wedge bolts allowed.
Non canister shocks.
One shock per wheel.
D. No independent rear suspension permitted.
TRANSMISSIONS:
A. Any type transmission
B. Must use blow-proof bell-housing on standard shift.
C. Driveshaft must be painted White.
SEATS:
A. Must have racing seat.
B. Must have 4 or 5 point safety belts.
FIREWALL:
A. Must have front and rear firewalls.
FUEL CELL:
A. Fuel cell w/ steel can and 2” steel straps mounted in rear of car only.
B. Gas ONLY (NO Alcohol or Nitrous Oxide).
WHEELS / TIRES:
A. American Racer 56 or Hoosier 55/1600 shoulder plated. Must punch minimum of 52 after race on track durometer. Open on front.
B. Wheels may be steel or aluminum 14 max. wide.
C. Beadlocks permitted.
D. No chemical treating allowed.

NOTE: The 8 rule / we will allow .008 thousandths on the bore, stroke and valve size.
Any Crate engine protested must be reassembled and resealed by one of the Authorized Repair / Rebuild centers.
Any item not listed in protest fees is considered a visual protest item and must be protested before race and NOT after.
B-Hobby
CAR & BODY:
A. 1970 cars or newer (American made)
B. 108-inch minimum wheelbase.
C. Stock steel bodies only (no homemade bodies).
D. Hulling is allowed but must have stock firewall & floor pan.
E. All doors must be welded shut.
F. Maximum 8” spoiler 12” long side. Braces no higher than spoiler.
ENGINES:
A. Any cubic inch allowed as long as block & crank match.
(350 block / 350 crank or 400 block / 400 crank)
B. Aluminum intake ok.
C. Carburetor – One four barrel carburetor only.
D. Headers permitted.
E. Any stock steel head / no aluminum heads.
F. OEM ignition only.
G. Block / Crank / Rods / Heads / Valves / Valve Springs / Retainers – Must be stock.
H. Camshaft & lifters must be hydraulics (No Exceptions).
SUSPENSION:
A. Springs must be in stock location (no altering of spring buckets).
B. Racing shocks permitted (steel only).
C. No wedge bolts or adjustable spring seats allowed.
D. All front and rear suspension must be in stock and in stock location.
E. Rear-ends may be locked
TRANSMISSIONS:
A. Must be stock (no direct drives).
B. Automatics must have OEM type converters (no bypass valves).
C. Stock steel flywheel / clutch / pressure plate for straight shift.
ROLL-CAGE:
A. Must have at least an 8 point cage with door bars.
B. Drivers door must have 3 door bars & 2 on right door.
C. Full roll cage is recommended.
D. Tubing must be minimum 1 ½ inch diameter & 0.083 wall thickness.
WEIGHT:
A. 3100 lbs. Minimum Anytime.
FUEL & FUEL CELL:
A. Gas Only
